Thanks to important studies it has been possible to understand that the child begins to understand the quantities of what is around him within a few days from birth. This means that children can understand quantities before they know how to name them in words.
Several scientific studies have shown how the newborn child is able to discriminate one, then, after the arrival of the father he is able to discriminate one other than one, and finally if we also hypothesize the arrival of a third person such as a nurse, the child is able to discriminate one other than one and different from one.
So we can say that the newborn child already knows how to recognize at least up to three physical elements that are around him. For all the numbers after four it will not be possible to recognize them at a glance because the brain activates the Subtizing mechanism which breaks down the quantities up to three-four, that is the only quantities that we can identify with a glance and almost never make mistakes.

3) learn to draw the shape of the numbers.
